"provisioning failed: user cannot be found" in SSP
am having awindows server 2003 with moss 2007 installed.when i tried to create an SSP it throws me "provisioing failed: user cannot be found" error:any body help me to solve this issue. am using a dummy useracount [ say mymachienname\mossuser] as the app pool identity account of central admin.and i loggd in to the server with my domainname\myuserid account. but in the app pool -->identity ta of sharedservices1 in inetmgr is a different user, who is a domainname\anotherusrname. is this causing the issue? with what username/paswd shoudl i create a ssp & later I want to import user profiles from AD. thanks in advance

Hello, Are you creating a second SSP? Is the account you are using properly priviledged, i.e. does it have local admin rights and DB creation rights? Did you delete the failed SSP? Thanks!
